Kristen is running from Mr. Wrong when she bumps into Mr.
Right now during a business trip. Funny how Kristen becomes interested in
Vincent who is CEO of a company her employers are trying to acquisition a new
account from.
Vincent appears to have eyes only for Kristen and not the
poor presentation that her employer’s executive brings to the meeting.
When they decide to spend time together outside of work and
not declare their relationship to anyone, it is exciting and make the
relationship hot but also becomes a little tricky. If no one knows you are
dating does that make either party fair game to others who are interested in
them.
While Kristen and Vincent are trying to learn if they can be
together, Kristen’s Mr. Wrong, Marty, shows up. He brings with him memories that
Kristen has not shared with Vincent. Marty loves Kristen and wants them to be
in a relationship again.
What is Kristen to do?
This is a three book series. Each book is powerful. I read
this as a full novel and I am all for Kristen and Vincent. I am looking for the
HEA. I know that this story has a lot of power struggles, alpha males, strong heroine,
suspense, and romance.
The lovemaking scenes are steamy and allow your imagination
run wild. As an ode to Vincent’s profession I would advise, during the romance
scenes that you listen to Drink in Love by Beyoncé. I believe it is warranted
to get the full effect of the story.
