Review of Consume Me. 3.5 stars

This MC story is about Tug and Blaze and it is not like any other MC novel. Lets start with Tug being a prospect; there are very little story’s about prospects. Their love story, because this is a love story, it more about his want of her and her resistance to be with him because of her past.

Tug doesn’t know why she is resistance/distant at times but he believes that it is due to something in Blazes past.

I enjoyed how the author allows us [reader] to see emotions from Blaze that are presented by Tug. At times I found Blaze to be a void to others and a very good actress but I liked how she was different with Tug.

I found that it took me longer to read this book. There were several times when I had to reread a section or an entire chapter because I thought, I missed something or it just did not click with how I saw the development of the story.

Overall, I enjoyed the book. Some of the topics in the book will have a hint of familiarity but not much, which is fabulous. (On my soap box): Recently, I found there are repeats of themes and overall plots in books and it s frustrating. But not with this one, this will bring the reader on a different journey, which is great!
